Hello, I’m John Weaver!

I’m a Certified Christian Life Coach (CCLC) and received my coaching training through Coach Approach Ministries and Professional Christian Coaching Institute.

I have a B.S. in Behavioral Science and a M.Div. from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary

My ministry experience includes:

  • Career missionary with the International Mission Board (IMB)
  • Missions and Evangelism Pastor
  • Senior Pastor

Through my years of ministry experience, I’ve talked with a lot of people around the world and have heard their stories.

Everyone has a special and unique life story!

Often, these stories are lost as we get older.  We have experiences as kids and then go on to the next stage in life, and then the next stage…. Pretty soon, many of our experiences are buried and forgotten and their value is lost.

In a very small way, Legacy Interviews help to preserve these life stories for years to come.  What’s unique about them is they come straight from the person’s own mouth as they share their heart and life experiences with me to be recorded.  What a special keepsake!

Pamela and I have been married for 30 years and have raised a beautiful family together.

It’s been an interesting journey as we have lived in several states and 3 different countries and have learned 3 new languages together.  God has given us many wonderful opportunities to serve Him together and we look forward to many more!

Besides having 8 biological children, God has blessed us with the gift of adoption and our lives stay busy with the “Wonder Twins” or “Dynamic Duo”, as Pamela calls them.  I call them our “Chinese-Russian-Irish Twins”, as they are only 9-1/2 months apart in age and both have Down syndrome.  There is NEVER a dull moment at our house! Of our 8 biological children, 3 are in Heaven and we look forward to seeing them again one day.

I’m originally from Baton Rouge and cheer for LSU Tigers. (It’s easy for me to remember our anniversary because the Tigers baseball team won the college world series the day we were married.)

I enjoy encouraging others in their Christian walk. I write a daily devotional that applies God’s principles for living to everyday life experiences.  Feel free to find me on Facebook and read them. I’ll be adding some here on the blog, as well.

It’s an honor to be called to minister to others and I have enjoyed all of the opportunities God has given me to do so around the world.

I would love to meet you, hear your story, and work with you!
