Hi, I’m Pamela!

I’m glad you stopped by!

I help women live a life they love!

One that aligns with God’s plan for their life!

As your coach, I’ll help you to “fill your toolbox” with the tools that you need to overcome your obstacles and make your ideal life a reality.

It’s a privilege to walk along side of others, cheering them on and holding them accountable, as they set goals for growth.

I help them move forward and close the gap between where they currently are and where God would have them to be.

I love being a life coach and am thankful that God has called me to help women live intentionally!

Life coaching is about YOU, but here’s a little of my story…

I love anything girly and rustic.  Oh, and flowers.  I can’t forget about flowers.  Especially pink peonies.

I love to think outside of the box. My ultimate dream and goal is to open a coaching center in a big red barn.

I’ve been married 26 years.  John and I have been blessed with the opportunity to raise 7 amazing children (5 boys and 2 girls)  and have 3 more waiting for us in Heaven. (read about it here) God is so good!

I have a heart for adoption and families with children who have special needs.  I’m an adoptive mommy to 2 little boys with Down syndrome.

I love learning languages and learning about other cultures! I’d spend my time traveling the world if I could.

We were career missionaries with the International Mission Board (IMB) for 6-1/2 years until we had to take an unexpected medical resignation in 2009.  We served in Sao Paulo, Brazil and also among the Nahuatl people group in Southern Mexico.  We even lived in San Jose, Costa Rica for a short time to switch languages from Portugues to Spanish.  We currently live about 30 miles from St. Louis, MO.

I love learning!

I enjoy taking classes or training for new things and could spend hours researching and reading “just for fun”.

If there’s a class to take or a group to join, I’m in!

Qualifications

I’m an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation and a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC).

I’m a:

  • Certified SYMBIS facilitator
  • Certified DISC consultant
  • Certified Human Behavior Consultant.

I trained through Professional Christian Coaching Institute, and later was on staff there as an instructor, teaching the Essentials of Life Coaching course.

I have a B.S. in Psychology, a M.A. in Counseling, and I am currently a doctoral student pursuing a Doctorate in Counseling (DCoun) at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I'm passionate about RESILIENCE!

I’m sure some of it has to do with my own story, but I’ve always been interested in post-traumatic growth and resilience, or resilience after adversity.  We’ve had 3 children die and a lot of other challenging experiences.

I plan to write my dissertation on some aspect of resilience.  We’ll see how that all shapes up as I get closer to that time.  I find it interesting to see how our experiences, environment, temperament, “the way we’re wired”, our family, our emotional intelligence, and of course, our hope in Christ all influence our resilience.

I love to help people thrive and grow on the other side of adversity.  You can’t change the past, but you can change your present and the future.

You can’t control others, but you can control YOU.  Even if you can’t control the circumstances, you can control how you respond to your circumstances and whom you will become through them.

No matter how bad your circumstances may be, they don’t define you.  Yes, they may affect you and shape you, but you’re not defined by them.

You can THRIVE, not just survive, on the other side of adversity. I love to help individuals take their experiences, learn from them, and grow.

It’s wonderful to see how God often uses their story to then help others!

I would love to meet you and hear your story!
